PROCLAMATION NO. 359

AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 32 DATED MAY 28, 1954, BY TRANSFERRING THE SAFETY AND ACCIDENT PREVENTION WEEK FROM THE THIRD TO THE FOURTH WEEK OF NOVEMBER OF EVERY YEAR

WHEREAS, the third week of November of every year is Safety and Accident Prevention Week under Proclamation No. 32 dated May 28, 1954; and

WHEREAS, the fourth week of November has been found to be a more convenient week for the purpose of bringing to the attention of the people the value of observing rules of safety and accident prevention;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Ramon Magsaysay, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by law, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 32 dated May 23, 1954, by transferring the Safety and Accident Prevention Week from the third to the fourth week of November of every year.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 13th day of October, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-six, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the eleventh.
