SIXTH PHILIPPINE LEGISLATURE

Concurrent Resolution No. 17.—Concurrent Resolution authorizing the appointment of a Joint Committee of both Houses to notify the Governor-General of the Philippine Islands that a “quorum” of said houses is present and that the Legislature is ready to receive any communication which the Chief Executive may see fit to send.
Resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives of the Philippines concurring, That the appointment of a Joint Committee of both Houses of the Legislature be, and the same hereby is, authorized, said committee to be composed of six members, of whom three shall be designated by the President of the Senate and three by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, to notify the Governor-General of the Philippine Islands that quorum of both Houses is present and that the Legislature is ready to receive any communication which the Chief Executive may see fit to send it.
