SIXTH PHILIPPINE LEGISLATURE
SECOND SESSION
Concurrent Resolution No. 20.—Concurrent Resolution requesting the Governor-General to send to the Philippine Legislature a copy of the cablegram attributed to the Secretary of War, concerning the present conflict between the Chief Executive of the Islands and the Filipino participants in the Government.
Whereas the local press has published a cablegram attributed to the Secretary of War of the United States and supposed to be addressed to the Governor-General, concerning the present conflict between said Governor-General on one side and the Filipino participants in the Government on the other;
Whereas the Philippine Legislature is interested in knowing with certainty whether said cablegram is authentic and whether it has actually been received by the Governor-General; Now, therefore be it
Resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives of the Philippines concurring, That the Governor-General be, and he hereby is, requested to inform the Philippine Legislature whether it is true that he received the cablegram published in the press relative to the present conflict between said Governor-General and the Filipino participants in the Government, and if so, whether he has any objection to sending a copy of the same to the Philippine Legislature.
