PROCLAMATION NO. 594
DECLARING MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 1969, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF BAGUIO
WHEREAS, Monday, September 1, 1969, marks the 60th charter anniversary of Baguio City; and
WHEREAS, the people of that city should be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their city’s history;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Monday, September 1, 1969, as a special public holiday in Baguio City.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
Done in the City of Manila, this 7th day of August, in the year of Our Lo-rd, nineteen hundred and sixty-nine.
