PROCLAMATION NO. 1066

DECLARING FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 1972, AS SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN BAGUIO CITY.

WHEREAS, Friday, September 1, 1972, marks the anniversary of the foundation of the City of Baguio; and

WHEREAS, the residents of Baguio City desire to celebrate this milestone in their city’s history;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Friday, September 1, 1972, as a special public holiday in Baguio City.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 28th day of August, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-two.
