PROCLAMATION NO. 1999

DECLARING MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 1980, AS AFP RESERVIST DAY.

WHEREAS, Monday, September, 1, 1980, marks the third anniversary of the Army Reserve Command; and

WHEREAS, it is desirable to insure country-wide participation of our reservist in commemorating this memorial occasion through our Home Defense Units;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Monday, September 1, 1980, as AFP Reservist Day.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 30th day of August, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty.
