PROCLAMATION NO. 2007

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 1980, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF QUIRINO.

WHEREAS, Wednesday, September 10, 1980, marks the Charter Anniversary of the Province of Quirino; and

WHEREAS, the residents of Quirino should be afforded the opportunity to commemorate the event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare September 10, 1980, as a special public holiday in the Province of Quirino, but the day will be a regular working and school day.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 8th day of September in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty.
