PROCLAMATION NO. 2100
DECLARING THURSDAY, JULY 23, 1981, AS A SPECIAL NON-WORKING PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN BATANGAS CITY.
WHEREAS, Thursday, July 23, 1981, marks the 12th anniversary of the creation of the City of Batangas; and
WHEREAS, the residents of Batangas City should be afforded the opportunity to commemorate the event with appropriate ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare July 23, 1981, as a special non-working public holiday in Batangas City.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
Done in the City of Manila, this 19th day of July, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty-one.
