PROCLAMATION NO. 2124
DECLARING MONDAY, OCTOBER 12, 1981, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC
HOLIDAY IN QUEZON CITY.
WHEREAS, the 42nd Foundation Anniversary of Quezon City falls on Monday, October 12, 1981; and
WHEREAS, the people therein desire to celebrate, with fitting ceremonies, this milestone in the history of their city;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare, Monday, October 12, 1981, as a special public holiday, but it shall be a regular working and school day.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
Done in the City of Manila, this 12th day of October, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty-one.
