BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES
PROCLAMATION NO. 2169
DECLARING TUESDAY, MARCH 16, 1982, AS A NON-WORKING SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN DAVAO CITY.
WHEREAS, Tuesday, March 16, 1982, marks the 45th Charter Anniversary of the City of Davao; and
WHEREAS, the residents of Davao City should be given opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their city’s history with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Tuesday, March 16, 1982 as a non-working special holiday in Davao City.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
