The Delegation of the European Union to the Philippines presents its compliments to the Protocol Office of the President and has the honour to transmit herewith a message from President Jose Manuel Barroso to President Benigno S. Aquino LTI, conveying the sympathy and solidarity of the European Commission following the tragic consequences of Tropical Storm Washi, which hit the Southern Philippines.
The Delegation and all its staff join President Barroso in expressing our sympathy and solidarity with all affected by the storm.
The Delegation of the European Union to the Philippines avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Department of Foreign Affairs the assurances of its highest consideration.
