On May 12, 2014, the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee, chaired by Senator Teofisto Guingona III, issued a subpoena for the Secretary of Justice to submit the “Alleged Napoles list/Affidavit on the PDAF Scam” to the Senate. Today, Secretary de Lima submitted the following in compliance: Copies of Janet Napoles’s initial affidavit dated May 12; her affidavit dated May 26; and cover letters from Napoles’s counsel submitting the affidavits.
